What is Dark-Phobia?

Dark-Phobia is a DA community where dark-artist come together and show their art. If you want to show your art here, you'll have to join Dark-Phobia.

Everyone who is obsessed with morbid and dark art is welcome, but as a supporter or artist remember to give feedback to the members and their art, not just using space to promote yourself. There are loads of dark art groups on this site and most of them have high criteria concerning art (determined by admins i guess). That is natural and normal, but it doesn't help newbies who would like to advance at all. I repeat - this is the place for all you people who like or make this kind of art, as long as you are constructive and sharing your thoughts with other artists. Give comments to receive comments, give critiques to help people get better. And of course visit the original links to the pieces given in each description. We will have to make a slight selection of course (highly demented - more dedicated ones / fresh blood - artists in progress, fans, supporters) and yes, it will have to be determined by admins, but there will be no turning down of anyone who wants to join and that doesn't mean some are better or worse. I hope you understand it is for the best so all of us can benefit. Ok that was my rant lol. Enjoy this place and share above all. RSPCT

OK, first thing's first. To each and everyone of our members - if you don't follow the rules you will be banned from the group. That includes posting links on the main page aswell as sending us notes when we specifically asked you not to. If you can't be bothered to read the journal, don't be bothered at all. Our rules are very simple, and this is the last warning for all of you who don't care to read or follow them. Kthnx.

Another thing. Your submissions for the group must be macabre or dark. That means no fantasy or surreal if it doesn't have anything dark in it. This is a group for horror lovers and there is plenty of other groups you can submit your other works to (see our affiliates). Any piece that does not fall under our category will NOT be submitted here.

Ok Dark Phobia is ready for your submissions AND we need a new avatar. So. Whoever has the will or the skill please send us your links with the newly designed avatar for Dark Phobia. It is not a contest and the avatar will be chosen by our decision. A hint - it should be animated. Get ready, set n GO !
